Ediția cu numărul 46 a BRIT Awards a consacrat-o pe Olivia Dean drept marea câștigătoare a serii, artist britanic care a plecat acasă cu patru trofee, iar Geese, Rosalía și Rosé & Bruno Mars s-au impus în categoriile internaționale. Ceremonia a marcat, totodată, o premieră istorică: pentru prima dată în cei 46 de ani de existență ai galei, aceasta nu a avut loc la Londra, ci la Co-op Live Arena din Manchester, pe 28 februarie 2026. Jack Whitehall a revenit ca prezentator pentru a șasea oară.
Olivia Dean a avut o seară de neuitat, cucerind Artist of the Year, Album of the Year pentru The Art Of Loving, Pop Act și Song of the Year with Mastercard pentru colaborarea sa cu Sam Fender, „Rein Me In”. Piesa se află, totodată, pe primul loc în UK Singles Chart pentru a doua săptămână consecutivă.
Pe scena internațională, „APT.” — duetul semnat Rosé și Bruno Mars — a câștigat International Song of the Year, în timp ce Rosalía a primit titlul de International Artist of the Year. Artista spaniolă a oferit și unul dintre cele mai spectaculoase momente ale serii, cu o apariție surpriză a lui Björk pe scenă în timpul interpretării piesei „Berghain”. Geese a câștigat International Group of the Year, iar Max Bassin, cel care a urcat pe scenă în numele trupei, și-a păstrat discursul scurt și direct: „Free Palestine, fuck ICE, go Geese.”
Wolf Alice a câștigat British Group of the Year, Lola Young a primit titlul de Breakthrough Artist, iar Fred again.., Skepta și PlaqueBoyMax s-au impus la Dance Act. Dave a câștigat Hip-Hop/Grime/Rap Act, Sam Fender a luat Alternative/Rock Act, iar Sault a câștigat R&B Act. Anterior ceremoniei, PinkPantheress a fost desemnată Producer of the Year, devenind cel mai tânăr artist și prima femeie care primește această distincție. Noel Gallagher a primit Songwriter of the Year, iar Mark Ronson a fost onorat cu premiul Outstanding Contribution to Music. Ozzy Osbourne a primit postum Lifetime Achievement Award, omagiat pe scenă de Robbie Williams alături de membrii istorici ai formației sale.
Seara a inclus o serie de momente live memorabile, cu Harry Styles revenind pe scenă pentru prima dată în trei ani, alături de Rosalía, Olivia Dean, Wolf Alice, RAYE, Alex Warren, Sombr, HUNTR/X (EJAE, Audrey Nuna, REI AMI) și Mark Ronson.
